Drinking water treatment plant in Revda: project is completed.

In Revda, a large-scale investment project for the reconstruction and modernization of treatment facilities for local and drinking water suppliers was successfully completed, which, as a general contractor, was implemented by JSC Ural Water Company, created in cooperation with Budapest Vodokanal.

The Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Yevgeny Kuyvashev highly appreciated the project, implementation of which made it possible to provide high quality water to all residents of the city for more than 60 thousand people.On the 12th of March 2021, during a working trip to the municipality,the head of the region tested the water treatment complex.

The Action Plan was the basis for the work of the comprehensive program of Russian-Hungarian cooperation in the interregional sphere and the Program for the Development and Modernization of Housing and Utilities Facilities in the Sverdlovsk Region.

Participants in the creation of a drinking water treatment station:

— Government of the Sverdlovsk region, work management.

— Municipal formation of the city of Revda, financing of works.

— “Aqua Dotis” company (Hungary), technology development.

— LLC «Ecohim-project» (Yekaterinburg), general designer.

— JSC «Vodokanal of the Sverdlovsk Region», technical customer.

— UMP «Vodokanal», Revda, the operating organization.

— «Aquaunion» (Hungary), equipment supplier.

— «Hydrosystem Hungary» (Hungary), installation and commissioning works.

— NP «Directorate of treatment facilities under construction», general contractor 2011-2018.

— JSC «Ural Water Company», general contractor 2018-2020, commissioning.

Key performance indicators:

— The capacity of the station is 45,000 m3 of treated water per day.

— The cost of creating the object is 1,600 million rubles.

— Terms of creation of the object 2011-2020.

Technical results of work on the creation of a drinking water treatment station:

— Ensuring the quality of purified drinking water in accordance with Russian and EU regulations.

— Introduction of pressure flotation to remove impurities from water instead of traditional

gravitational settling.

— Creation of a fully automated water treatment complex.

— Complete prevention of the formation of organochlorine compounds.

— Achievement of the design capacity of the station for treated water of 45 thousand m3 / day. at needs of the city of Revda up to 20 thousand m3 / day.

Fabian Sandor, General Consul of Hungary in Yekaterinburg, noted that Hungary has very good diplomatic relations with Russia. Not only at the domestic  level, but also at the regional level.

— The Revda project for Hungary is a project of good cooperation with Russia. Our technologies appeared here, in the Sverdlovsk region, and these are unique, modern membrane technologies that are used in Budapest. The water is filtered, so it is clean and tasty. Chemistry, in particular chlorine, is not used here, — said Fabian Sandor.
